I love Chess. I'm a long way from a grand master, but I'm comfortable with my skill level for those I play most; my friends. My experience is that most chess players are reluctant to teach you anything. They simply like beating the dog out of you and basking in their victories. Studying opening strategy is the one thing I can identify that helped me reach a level where I could do a little basking against those who used to so easily beat me. If Opening Strategy helped me, it can surely help you too if you'd like to play a little better. Good luck and visit me on the boards!
Win, lose, or draw; I enjoy the game.
"The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit." John 3:8
